2013 Spring Classic ProGRT & Super D
Don’t miss our first event of the season. The Mountain Creek Spring Classic brings out the best local, national and international riders to New Jersey for some great racing action. Racers will compete for double points in the USA Cycling Pro GRT Series as well as the Eastern States Cup Series. The race will also mark the USAC New Jersey State DH Championships. New for 2013! We’ve added Super D as a discipline. The Spring Classic is not to be missed. Mark your calendars to join some of the world’s best mountain bikers at Mountain Creek Bike Park this May 16-19th.

Racers must race in the USAC category they hold a license for. A racer’s age is determined by their age on
December 31st, 2013. Cat 1
and Pro Racers require USAC Annual Licenses (No Day Licenses).
Pit Spaces:
Pit spaces will be located in the Red Tail Lodge Parking Lot. The Pits will open on Thursday and Close on Sunday at the conclusion of the Race. The Pit lots are open to paid guests only. No employee or guest parking.

Water will be available in the Red Tail
Lodge. No electric will be available.
Special parking restrictions(Handicap & Fire Zone) will still be

Tickets may be picked up at the Bike Center in the Red Tail Lodge. Best race spectating will be in the Rock
Garden on the Asylum trail (follow Great Northern Ski Trail down from top of
Gondola) or in the finish area behind Red Tail Lodge. No outside alcohol allowed on premises.
Kids Race:
Immediately
following the Pro Downhill finals on Sunday we will be hosting a Kids Race on
the Great Lawn outside the Red Tail Lodge.
This free participatory event is designed to give young bikers their
first taste of racing. No winners, just
for fun! Open to kids ages 10 &
younger on any type of bike.

Race & Event Rules:
- All event class fields are limited. Due to the popularity of this event, pre-registration is highly recommended and is first-come, first served
- All participants will be required to sign a waiver and photo release form at onsite registration. Participants under 18 years of age are required to have a parent or guardian signature
- Helmets are required for all events including practice and freeriding
- Athletes are required to have valid lift tickets and athlete number plates in order to gain access to the race course
- Competitors may only engage in practice runs during official, class-specific practice sessions or open practice times.
- Official field start-times will be posted at the mandatory riders meeting, at the base of the gondola, DH start area and at registration
- Race number plates may not be cut, folded, altered or defaced in any way
- Athletes are encouraged and required to be at the start area at least 20 minutes prior to their posted (time-of-day) start times. Athletes that are not present at the start area for their posted start time may lose their opportunity to race
- Winning athletes must be in attendance at the official awards ceremony in order to receive prizes - awards will not be mailed.
- Registration fees and competitor lift tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable
- No outside alcohol is allowed on property
